Standards for Library Schools, 1976

At the General Council Meeting of IFLA in Lausanne in August 1976 the Section of Library Schools discussed the "Standards for Library Schools ", drafted by its Stand ing Advisory Committee. The Section approved the Standards unanimously with a few modifications. The revised English text is printed below. A French, German and Russian version will be available at the beginning of next year.
